| Here I am. Florida. Who would have thought that it would be "rainy season" when I plan my trip here? Nevertheless (yes, it's one word) I went out on a boat today. Today was my first trip out to the ocean. It looked like we could have driven forever out there, but we just looped out of intracoastal for a sec to ride some waves. It was scary, but awesome. It felt like you are 20 feet up ramping these things.
I went to my old church today. It was great. My friend "Moose" attended church for the first time with me and my buddy/roomie Chris. It was great to see everyone there again. It's like I never left. The people here just carry themselves in such an awesome way that it just warms your spirit so much. My friends here display an image of a Christian faith that I will always strive to obtain. When you have people in your life that create a desire in you like that...you know they're meant to be there.
Carlyn bought me Kelly Clarkson as an early birthday gift. Shweet. | | |

| Well, I recently returned from my California excursion. It was a slammin good time. I could go into detail, but I would be crossing the line between simply informing you, and boasting. Outside my performance, geographical location, and social details I can tell you that during the trip I listening to a *rare* acoustic recording of breakaway in a studio that kelly clarkson recorded that her label and other subsidary companies won't allow to be released. Not that hearing this will make any difference of my excellence amongst society, but it definately was a neat experience to listen something that only 10 people will ever hear.
After reading several xanga's I have discovered that Dan is gone, Scott is gone, and I think Dylan is gone. Jon and Luke will be gone forever, and Amy hasn't returned a call I placed several hours ago. About 3 weeks ago I had high hopes of a summer filled with paintball wars, and endless days of soccer. Apparently I misinformed myself. It's quite depressing seeing friends moving and leaving, and a few of those that you didn't really say bye too. Well, it all can't last forever. Only 4 years ago Dan was riding a scooter naked jumping over chairs in the basement of Dunn Hall. Feels like only yesterday.
I'll be leaving for an 8 day trip to florida on the 1st. It was going to be 2 weeks, but after being away last week I realized I didn't want to separate myself from a special someone for that long, and plus I need to learn a whole other setlist of songs for a June show. It will be a grand 'ol time. | | |
| So tonight I have decided that I don't care if people really read my entries or not. I've been posting them in timely intervals and have been recieving wonderful comments from friends and neighbors. Therefore, I will continue to post.
Tonight Darren and I practiced with Mrs. Joy at a nice rehearsal studio. I had two very large monitors and Jimmy John's for lunch. It was a wonderful set up, but the rehearsal was a little rushed. We had fun though. We just got done watching the 2 hr season finale of 24. Kind of a conundrum... Any way, the show is nothing to shake a stick at. There's still people over at this house, but I can't be surrounded by people all day. Come on folks! I gotta have some down time!
The moon was in full force tonight. I enjoy beautiful things like that. It makes the world around you join as one and smell the flowers. I also enjoy when people point these things out to me ...i think that warrents a smiley.
